Grant of Anar Aitzhanova for supporting young talented kids

Who is invited to apply?
- Students of the Baisejtova Conservatorium
- From 16 to 18 years
- Who play a solo instrument or are solo singers
Requirements
- Recommendation letter from the conservatorium.
- Foreign language skills (English and/or German).
- Application letter with a photo and argumentation why the applicant should be chosen to receive the stipendium.
- The applicant must already have participated in a national music contest.
- A sample of his skills on CD, DVD, data stick or via email.
- The applicant agrees that his pictures and recordings may be published for any purposes of the Anar Aitzhanova Music Stipendium.
- Graduation from the conservatorium.
Stipendium
(up to five years after graduation from the conservatorium)
- Grant of USD 500,- twice a year
- Once a year financing (up to a total of USD 5.000,-) of the participation in a European Music Contest (fees, traveling expenses, accommodation, food, visa assistance, coaching at the contest). The participation/traveling is at the students own risk.
- Mentoring through Anar Aitzhanova or other international successful solo artists.
Obligations
- After the stipendium has ended the student is obliged to perform free of charge (only cash expenses will be reimbursed) twice a year in concert organized by Anar Aitzhanova Music Stipendium.
- The student is further obliged to participate as a mentor in the Anar Aitzhanova Music Stipendium Mentoring Program for up to two students.
We believe sincerely, that the program of the centre “Tengri” – “Grant of Anar Aitzhanova” will help considerable number of the young talented musicians, not less than to business of interosculation of cultures of Asia and Europe.
